Trying this out!!

I thought I would try blogging and see if I can keep this up! I have loved looking at my friend's blog and also at my sister's blog and thought it would be a fun way for people to catch up on our family.  My kids are also at the age where they say and do the darndest things and I always think I need to write it down and I thought this would be a great way to journal.  Here goes:

Danny is teaching and now is the busy season with the lawn business.  He stresses everyday and worries about having enough accounts.  He takes his work personal so if someone decides not to go with him he wonders what he has done wrong, but after awhile he shrugs it off and realizes win some and loose some.

Isabelle is growing up so fast she will be baptized this summer and she is looking forward to that.  She is in the second grade for a few more weeks and can't wait for summer.  She is also still dancing and singing in the school choir.  She loves, loves, loves, music and is either singing or dancing around the house.  She has watched her dad sing in church and now she wants to sing in sacrament meeting and she wants her mom to sing with her!

Grant is now starting to enjoy preschool.  He is actually asking me if he has preschool today and not growling when I say yes.  His soccer coach was right when he said wrestling would be a good sport for him.  He loved wrestling.  However, he figured out the system that everyone gets a medal no matter if you win or loose.  So his last match he was tired and just let the other kid pin him, he was done hand over the medal!  Grant loves to play on the Wii and work with his dad.  Last Saturday he woke up real early and went to work.  He showed me all the spots he worked at in Blackfoot and told me he made a lot of money!  He is saving up for a very elaborate and expensive Star Wars Lego set.

Wil is still a movie hound.  Now he thinks he knows how to load a movie in the DVD player.  He also thinks the dishwasher, VCR, printer, or anything with a slot will play a movie. Wil loves baseball and wants to play catch or swing the bat.  He hasn't quite grasped the concept of outside games.  I shutter every time he swings the bat or throws the ball. At his age he doesn't have great aim!  He is starting to say more phrases and it is real cute.  Danny's sister Jana calls him the sweedish chief because he chatters and then says Juice!  Or when we change his diaper he says ew-yuck.  He also loves his hair.  He has almost loved it too much.  Wil twists his hair when he gets tired and he is now twisting so hard he is pulling it out.  He has created a balled spot in the back of his head, and I think he is going to have a drastic hair cut soon so he doesn't pull it all out!

The Baby-to-be doesn't have a name yet.  However, Grant has come up with some great names like: Pip-squeak, dragon, anything you would name your pet. I told the kids we couldn't name the baby any name that came from a video game or Star Wars. Mario and Luke were top on their list!  They are so excited to have a new baby brother they can't wait.  The other night after Isabelle said prayers she asked me if Jesus really knew who was saying the prayer, and I told her yes he knows and he knows all about you.  I said he also knows your baby brother and he is teaching him right now.  They were mind boggled.  Grant piped in and said I bet our brother is so excited to come and live with us. We all agreed.  Then Grant said what if he is so excited to come live with us he comes early or at night when we are all sleeping?
This baby has a great due date 08-08-08!  I may be willing to hold out for this date!

Love it! I like your layout better than mine...it must be a new one. Weekly? You have to do more than that. We need belly pics too.
