Catching up!!

Whew!  It has been a long time and I have been itching to get back to the blog!  First, we went on vacation for a week, and left our computer on vacation and didn't have it for a week.  Two weeks without a computer I didn't know what to do without our computer.  I didn't realize how much I used my computer until I didn't have it!
Well, we had a little family reunion at my mom's house the first week in July.  We had a great time.  The very first day Carter showed my kids that bugs can be fun!  They went out to the backyard AKA "Don's Jungle" and found snails, and rolly pollies!  They quickly put them in containers to save them as pets.  Isabelle wanted to make homes for them with jungle gyms and things like that! Thanks Carter!!  After the bug collecting we started our adventures at the "This is the place"  Monument.  Next to it is  Pioneer Village.  Isabelle was so excited about pioneers she wanted to dress like one so she put on  a skirt and shirt she thought looked like a pioneer!  Once we were there she found the bonnets and had to have one.  Kinni tried it out and said the bonnet actually shaded her and felt good (it was so-o hot on the mountain top!) she also looked quite attractive!  We had a great day and a good start to the week.  However, the next day we decided to cool off a bit and go swimming.  We went to a new swimming complex in Tooele (to-wil-u).  This place was great for little kids they had a huge area for small children to walk around and play.  There was also a slide which much to Danny's dismay Wil loved.   Wil has proven to be our "fish".  He loves the water and he loves slides.   Once I looked over and he was tip toeing out of the pool and then running to the slide!   The pool checks were also a nightmare for everyone around us because Wil screamed, "I want to go swimming,"  the whole 10 minutes. We all understood, but the rest of the complex just heard a screaming baby.  The next day we rode the train to the "Gateway" mall.  This is an outside mall with a huge water fountain in the middle of the mall.  Every half hour they do a water show set to music and the kids love to play in the water that shoots out of the ground.  Our kids not only loved it, they LOVED it.  That was our cheapest form of entertainment!  On Friday we drove to Idaho Falls so Great Grandma could meet Emilia and see her out of state grandkids.  We were able to have a picnic in the park and talk with grandma.  We all loved seeing grandma and meeting Emilia.  The kids thought Emilia was the greatest thing ever.  They tried to get her to laugh, and see who could get her the best toy they all just wanted to be around her.  She is a sweet girl with the cutest giggle and squeal!  We had a great time with our family and hope to see them again soon.
