Thanksgiving is one week away and this may sound a little elementary to you but I thought about challenging myself to think about what I am truly thankful for and documenting it. So for the next week I am going to do a few posts on what I am thankful for. The first one is a little deep so here goes...

Today I was getting ready for my Visiting teaching appointments and I thought about what general conference talk really had an impact on me and it was this talk by Elder Jeffery R. Holland. He bore such a strong witness of the Book of Mormon it will be a talk I probably won't forget. As I read his talk this morning the spirit bore witness to me of it's truthfulness. I am grateful to know that in trouble times I have the gospel of Jesus Christ to sustain and guide me and my family through anything. I am grateful for this book and the message it brings of hope, joy, and peace to all who read it. I know this book to be true and I am so thankful for that knowledge.

Amen! so true.
I loved that talk!
Okay...do we share a brain? I've been thinking about what I'm grateful for lately too and the Book of Mormon keeps coming to mind.......I'm trying to pick it up more than I have in the past. Loved your post,
Mel
I'm thankful for you...and the BofM too of course.
