Oh, it has been too long since I have posted. I haven't been posting as often as I would have liked so I will catch you up in the next post (just to keep you begging for more!).
Anyway, I thought I should write this story down before I forget it. I think now the embarrassment/resentment has worn off and I can laugh so have a laugh on my account... your welcome.
Last Sunday after a night of great fireworks that lasted way, way past any of my kid's bedtime, my four year old was having a rough time in church. Go figure. So we struggled with him throughout sacrament meeting and finally Danny took him out. We were sitting in the third row from the front and I was right up against the wall when I saw Will rounding the corner of the front row pew and high tailing it up and around to Danny. I looked back to see where in the world Danny was and what he was going to do about it and discovered Danny was asleep on a chair in the very back opposite corner of the chapel!!! Yes you read that right Danny had fallen asleep on the job. I can only imagine the thought process in Will's mind. "Alright! Dad is asleep no mom around, I'm taking a run for it!" So he round the chapel AGAIN!! At this point I was livid. Do I march up there and shake Danny awake? No, I thought there is no way Will would do it again and then he came running down the opposite aisle, I pushed all the kids out of the way waited for him to run up our aisle and snatched him. Yes, and luckily we were sitting in the front for the whole ward to see and hear Will say, "owie, owie, you hurt me!" All I can say is the kid is lucky the whole ward was watching! Danny is too!
The meeting ended and Will had a big timeout on the bench with his arms folded after sacrament meeting was over. I figured he wouldn't connect the time out with running around the church after he got home from church so we sat on the bench. People walked by and they knew exactly what was going on. Some gave words of encouragement others tried not to bother him. I don't know why Will thought it was ok to run around the chapel. I know we as a family have had SEVERAL talks on reverence and we will have several more I'm sure. Am I alone here? My kids seem to not be able to sit in Sacrament Meeting. Tell me your secrets!

Just checking in on my way out the door...I'll respond in greater detail when I get a moment....!
my brother in law shared something with me. He said his brother warned his kids that if they weren;'t good in sacrament they would have to sit int he next wards sacraments. After a day of sacrament meetings he never had a problem again.
