The Best Candy Ever!!

Sometimes it is scary for me to send my kids to their friend's house to play.  I always wonder what they will learn from their friend, good or bad.  I also wonder if my kids will behave and hopefully, not be the kid who no one wants to ever return back to their house!

A new little boy who is the same age as my five year old moved in this past summer and he comes over to play.  I don't mind, I like knowing what my kids are playing and how they are interacting with other kids.   Recently he has been inviting my son over to his house.  So I released the strings and let him go play. Fearing he is not behaving the whole time. However, I wished I could have been a fly at the dinner table after this play date...

Will came home from playing with his friend and with excitement in his voice he said, "Mom, mom, I just had the best candy EVER!" he said.  "They are small, and sort of round and all different colors and they are called Jelly Beans!"  "Oh, they are so yummy we need to get some!"

If he was that excited at our house can you imagine what he was saying at his friend's house?  Oh, I bet they had a good laugh and wondered what kind of rock this kid had been living under.  I just wonder where he has been every Easter?  And yes, his dad did purchase  "The Best Candy Ever" for him.
