Another Day, Another Problem to Fix

What a week!!  The first full week the kids had off and it was sort of crazy!  We had a good memorial weekend and I felt really good on Tuesday like I was going to conquer the wold, or my house!  My mother and father in law came and planted some flowers in my flower beds on Tuesday.  It was such a nice day until a flash flood storm came rolling in!  All those flowers were getting drowned and we were all afraid all the hard work would be washed away.  I am happy to report that none of them washed away and I think the flowers are going to look great!  Later that evening Danny discovered the flash flood flooded us!  ugh.  So, that is how I spent my week cleaning the basement and letting the upstairs go.  

This story puts the icing on my week... I have often thought that the way Danny rolls over in bed, well he bounces several times and makes quite the commotion as he readjusts, that one day our bed it going to break.  So, I voiced that to Danny the other morning and he shrugged his shoulders.  Well, later that morning he came in and with a little bounce to the bed, SNAP!!!  He said well you did it, you jinxed me I broke the bed!  Can you imagine the joy I felt when I was actually right about the bed? It really was only a matter of time before the bed cracked. I haven't been happy with the bed because it sounds like it is 100 yrs. old and I have been thinking of how to sell the bed and get a new one, and I told him now I can't even sell the bed!  It is really not a total loss and I slept in it last night, but Danny said he is not going to sleep in it until he fixes it.  As I see it I am pregnant and having the whole bed to myself, not too bad!!!  Get right on that Danny!  Well, more to come Isabelle has a dance recital tonight, and yes I am having a pampered chef party this week.  Everyone invited!!! :)
