Wil has reached the stage where everything is his. If you have anything that is his, or used to be his, or he looked at it yesterday, you stole it from him. And then I hear about it for about 20 minutes. Yesterday Grant requested popcorn chicken for lunch and Wil wanted mini pizza. I can make them at the same time so I thought it was an easy request. After Grant went to school I offered Wil some popcorn chicken and he refused he just wanted pizza. Five minutes later Danny offered his friend some of the same popcorn chicken and Wil threw a huge fit crying "that's my chicken." We were going to lunch with Danny's friend so we threw our hysterical child in the car and he slowly calmed down. That is, until we got out of the car and Wil saw Danny's friend. He turned and looked at me, started to cry and said pointing his finger, "They stole my chicken!" And went into hysterics again! He follows the toddler rules of what's mine is mine and what's yours is mine. Some days, naps are not optional!!
