Been a long time!

So, here I am at 10pm with four kids in bed.  I don't know if they are all sleeping but they are in bed!  This seems to be a good time to do this, if I am not too tired!  So, two holidays have past and I haven't even blogged that. Feeling like the biggest Looser blog edition!  I took lots of pictures at Halloween with full intent to post the pictures, but my only excuse is that I was tired!  However, in my brief absence I have found that people really do read my blog and to them I say, thank you!  

Here we are and it is the 2nd of December only 23 days 'til Christmas (and I know this because Grant and I counted once on the calendar and once on his count down chain!) and it feels like time is running out!  I am the kind of person who watches HGTV and loves the 25 decorating ideas they come up with and want to try them all!!  Well, reality hits and if I am lucky I try one and sometimes it turns out.  Oh, and I love, love, love to try new recipes from food network especially Christmas treats!  I guess what I am trying to say is I love all the decorating and the food, but I just don't always get it all accomplished.  I have a problem with perfectionism. I want it to look like it did on HGTV, but it doesn't always turn out that way.  I do have one idea I am going to try cross your fingers it doesn't flop!
