Injured!

I have been injured! My I.T band or Iliotibial Band has been giving me problems. It is a typical problem in runners due to the overuse or increase in activity. Both of which I have been doing. It started hurting the week before the "Just Cuz" half-marathon and I couldn't walk without pain so I wasn't able to run. I am glad that I took it easy for awhile because now it feels much better and I am stepping up the weight training to get stronger hips and core muscles. And to help me out and give me that next motivation I am joining the "Holiday Bootie Buster Challenge"! I am feeling pretty good about my efforts I have lost a total of 20 lbs. and looking to loose more. I was so thrilled when I put on a pair of pants that I haven't worn in awhile and they were just too big! Wish me luck on the challenge! I hope I can at least win some great prizes!
